Spring/Summer 2019 New Work

Summer is here and I have already found sanctuary in my cool basement studio. Over the past several weeks I have returned to abstraction (and even some minimalism) in an effort to prepare for the coming year. Starting August 1st, I will begin my preparations for my first public exhibition. It is scheduled for August 2020 and will be held at the St.Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre. This deadline has made me reflect on my 20 year career and the steps I wish to take as I move forward on my artistic journey. There will be another newsletter shortly where I will talk more extensively about the upcoming exhibition and my choice to concentrate on abstraction.
